The attack.
The past few years the Cathedral and Stormwind has been under steady attacks from cultist in various forms. The most infamous one being the group calling them selves The Dark Sphere. Led by Ataris the Soulblighter with his puppy in led Andrek the Defiler. After a recent attack where a demon was summoned inside the Cathedral the Priests and Paladins decided enough was enough. A counter attack was needed, and one that would hopefully lead to a more permanent sollution than the random raids down to Darkshire. Wether the Dark Sphere was behind the summoning in the Cathedral is a question to be raised. But one that is unlikely to be answered in truth. People were gathered, though few knew of the plans created, people were eager to help. Two groups were created. One were to deliver a message to Darkshire, another were to create a small camp and attack the Scourge in Icecrown. Though the people attending to the gathering few knew they were about to risk their lives. The banners of the Scourge were placed in Darkshire, seemingly so the cultist inhabiting the area being aware of what were to come they had been prepared. Traps had been set up. What exactly happened in the defiled forest is hard to say. But the last standing town in Duskwood recieved a heavy blow as it's been reduced to rubble.

Dwarves enraged.
Our stout neighbours to the North have become rather enraged with the recent, and past I believe, cultist activities. They have passed down a new law that let them deal with anyone thought to be involved in shady business in most dangerous ways. Execution is high on their pedestal. Last week, according to Minister Morticea, the Dwarves killed a innocent Citizen of Stormwind. This can not be tolerated.
